Hello and welcome to our brand new blog.  Ever wondered what happens behind the scenes of a successful family business?  Probably not, I hadn't until I married into one! Listening from the sidelines for the last ten years has been quite interesting I can tell you, the gossip, the drama, the "blazing" arguements (not really, we all get on pretty well) and now they have let me loose on the website blog so I can bring you the latest from life at the Fire Basket.  I'm Mrs Fire Basket - wife of Company Director James.  When I'm not running around after our two small children I help out a bit and now writing this blog has been added to my duties.  

So what have we been doing today?  Well James has been doing what he does best - selling fireplaces and keeping me on my toes!  I have been working on the website trying to bring it up to date with the latest products we have on show in the shop.  Richard has been building our brand new high temperature test rig, look out CERN!  We have been snacking on peanut butter brownies and drinking moderate amounts of coffee.
